Learn from 9/11...(Conclusion)

September 11, 2001 was the most horrific and devastating incident I have ever experienced in my life. It had affected every human being in America some how and some way. Many people lost their lives in that day. They never would have thought about what is coming in their way the day before 9/11. A lot of people died leaving their family alone. They were all innocent. I know The United States took control of Afghanistan for oil, agricultural goods etc. But my question is why would they kill these innocent people who had nothing to do with this?? Why would they kill a innocent child`s father who had nothing to this?? The terrorists could have taken their revenge some other way instead of killing all this innocent people. I think it is also time for the government and president administration to stop the wars and stay at peace. I think this wars, racism, discrimination would make the younger generations who are growing up even more worst than us. I think it is time for our government to think about all of that and try to fix it instead of spending millions of dollars in wars. I know that 9/11 can never be forgotten. But we can learn from it so that we would never fall into something similar ever again. If we do than we would know how to handle and deal with it.

It's simple, really. Let me explain it to you. If a kid gets pushed around by a bully on the playground and the kid does nothing, the bully is always going to push the kid around. If the kid that's being pushed bloodies the nose of the bully, the bully is not going to push that kid anymore bc he knows what the consequences of his actions will be, another bloody nose! So if the terrorists' want us out of their country so bad then they need to stop attacking us or we will continue to bring the fight to their home in order to keep it out of ours.

You forgot about the other 200,000+ vietnamese who died back in the 70's. They didn't attack America either nor did they train any terrorist. But the question is who did train and supply Al Qaeda or the Mujahideen as they were known back then? The answer is USA. Irony is too weak a word to use in this situation.

The attack on the icons of America’s economic and military powers, twin towers and Pentagon, changed the world instantly. The change did not take place due to the terrorist attacks; the world was changed by the massive reaction and fury of the sole super power. Within a period of one month, an attack was launched on Afghanistan which toppled the government of Taliban but which caused the terrorists to be grateful. By the hindsight, it has now been revealed that this was what al Qaeda was asking for. It had successfully provoked the US to enter the land where two earlier super powers, Britain and USSR, had lost their pride and glory. After ten years, one trillion dollar and thousands of lives, al Qaeda is many times stronger and formidable. The US has gained nothing except for taking OBL, who was only a figurehead. The COO of al Qaeda is alive and kicking and so is his ideology of conquering the world. Read more at: http://pksecurity.blogspot.com/2011/09/decade-after-911-horrific-consequences.html
